Max is owned and handled by the delightful Kelli and this is what she says about him:
Max is a 21 month old Saluki x Greyhound owned by Kelli on LL he is 26 inches to the shoulder have no idea how much he weighs? Not much - he is skinny! We got Max from the Greyhound Rescue West of England in Sept 05 he had come from a family home where he had been mistreated & lived only on the stairs of a house - he had to do everything on the stairs i.e. sleep, eat, toilet & play. Max was never taken out & was often abused by his "owner" luckily Max was rescued & taken into the care of GRWE Max has been a star with us, despite his bad start. He is very nervous of Men but other than that he is a very happy friendly dog. Max is very bouncy & loves playing chase the ball/stick etc He is very well behaved & knows commands such as sit, stay, down, beg, wait, go to bed!!! His recall is improving all the time! In Max’s spare time we go to agility & obedience classes but Max's absolute favourite thing to do is play catch & retrieve with his ball on a string!
I'm not sure which one put the most effort in at the show, Kelli or Max. I think they both worked very hard and by the end of the day he was catching a few and bringing a few back, not to Maddy's standard but good enough for second place, originally equal second with Zak but they were seperated, just, at the tie break. I believe with some practice throwing the disc then they'll both be capable of scoring as many, if not more than Maddy
